Our main enemy is poverty. Education can end poverty and create wealth. It is the chain that goes on. Education is something that makes an individual capable of earning through employment. And earning can erase poverty as it gives power to a person to earn a livelihood. The main reason the nation suffers from poverty is lack of education.. Education is very important for the removal of poverty and has a significant place in one’s life. For this, I would refer to the Kalgidhar Society of India that is helping people by removing poverty through advanced education facilities.

Education is an important factor in improving a country’s future growth rates. Much more important, it is essential to ensure that the children of poor households gain the skills they need to enter the workforce able to get access to the higher-paying jobs that growth creates. The distribution of education within a population has a vital role to play in determining whether the pattern of growth is inclusive or not. Finally, the pattern of education is essential. To reduce poverty, the highest priority must be on ensuring that all children begin learning in the earliest grades, beginning with learning to read. Reading is the most valuable skill taught in schools and is the key to all other forms of learning.

Here are the five ways through which education can end poverty -

1. Education reduces poverty

2. Education increases individual earnings

3. Education reduces economic inequalities

4. Education promotes economic growth

5. Education helps save the planet.

Education usually reduces unemployment by providing people with training/skills, which in turn helps people to get jobs. By educating ourselves and learning new skills we can get jobs easily and reduce poverty. Education reduces poverty and unemployment, all things being equal.

Even the government today is emphasizing the importance of education and how education is directly related to employment and the growth of the country and society as a whole. It is not necessary to go expensive education as many free resources are available nowadays. All you need is complete dedication and perseverance to educate yourself to an extent that can enable you to do better things in life for your sustainment and your family’s! That is how a full stop will be put to poverty!
